5th conference on Stochastic Weather Generators “SWGEN 2025 workshop”

The 5th conference on Stochastic Weather Generators, “SWGEN 2025 workshop”, will take place from December 2nd to 4th, 2025 at the Institute of Environmental Geosciences (IGE) in Grenoble, France (2 rue de la Papeterie, Domaine Universitaire – 38100 Gières). There is no registration fee for the workshop ; participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.

This international workshop will present the latest developments in stochastic weather data generators and a wide range of applications, including agricultural and hydrologic risk studies, stochastic climate model downscaling, renewable energy, and infrastructure planning. Abstracts are invited for oral presentations, posters, and case studies showcasing innovative approaches, practical applications, or theoretical advancements related to stochastic weather generators.

More information about the abstract submission, registration, important dates, program, confirmed speakers, etc. will be provided as it becomes available on the website of the event.
