Biodiversity
General Objectives
To halt the decline in biodiversity, it is essential to identify the impacts of environmental pressures, particularly anthropogenic pressures, on the abundance and diversity of species and their assemblages in different ecosystems (terrestrial and aquatic), at different spatial and temporal scales.
The objective of the “Biodiversity” workshop is to bring together OSUG researchers working on biodiversity and/or environmental factors (LECA, LESSEM, ISTerre, IGE, PACTE, CARRTEL, EDYTEM, etc.) and to promote exchanges between users of biodiversity and environmental factor observation databases in order to build biodiversity evolution models based on different climate change and/or land management/use scenarios.
Workshop activities
The main activities of the “Biodiversity” workshop are the organization of thematic meetings combined with seminars on research topics related to the diversity of life, from genes to ecosystems. Suggestions for scientific activities for this workshop are also welcome.
Anyone interested in following the activities of the workshop can freely subscribe to the mailing list: osug-atelier-biodiversite univ-grenoble-alpes.fr via this link.
