Ice Memory, mission accomplished on the Col du Dôme

Scientists are joining forces to create a global archive of glacial ice for future generations. The project’s first mission to protect the world’s Ice Memory, launched in France on 15 August 2016 in the Mont Blanc massif, drew to a successful conclusion on 29 August.
