My Thesis Summed Up in 180 Seconds
MARCH
Condensing years of research into just three minutes, in a clear and engaging way, in front of a professional jury and a non-specialist audience: this is the challenge taken up by all PhD candidates from Université Grenoble Alpes in the international competition My Thesis Summed Up in 180 Seconds.
MT180 is an international French-speaking competition, organized in France by CNRS and France Universités since 2014. It offers PhD students a unique opportunity to communicate directly with the public and share their research beyond the walls of their laboratories.
Every March, 16 PhD students, including some from the OSUG federation laboratories, take on the challenge of explaining their thesis topics to the widest possible audience in just three minutes, using a single slide. During this local final, two finalists are selected to represent the Grenoble Academy in the next stages of the competition.
